Description
Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor) is composed of multiple colors which resembles the male tail of the turkey and are found throughout the world. This is a functional mushroom which contains high levels of beta-glucans that can be taken as a food, tea, or in a supplement.
Instructions
1.) Place grow bag on a table or shelf inside at room temperature (60 – 72F) with medium, indirect sunlight.
2.) Watch the white mycelium colonize throughout the bag.
3.) When mycelium colonizes the bag, make multiple 2-3” horizontal cuts into the block
4.) Spray these cuts 2-3 times per day
5.) Fruit formation can take quite a while
You can attempt a second fruiting by withholding water mist for 7 days. Soak the block in cold water for 20 minutes and then pour out excess water from the bag, then start misting 2-3 times a day.
